Robin Doody has been performing — primarily comedy — in and around Washington DC since 2017.
He graduated Washington Improv Theater's curriculum in 2016, has been performing improv with the theater since 2017, and teaching there since 2019. A former member of Harold Team AstroMom, Company Ensembles Commonwealth and Madeline, and Special Projects like Yearbook, (y)Our Town, and POTUS Among Us; Robin currently is performing with various indie projects, including Please Go Back to Sleep, a nightly duo with his newborn daughter.
In addition to his improv background, Robin has a breadth of multidisciplinary performance experience including stand-up with productions like Capital Laughs and Shtick, storytelling with Story District and Perfect Liar's Club, dramatic acting through showcases with Studio Acting Conservatory, The Theatre Lab, and Monologue Madness, as well as comedic acting through various independent film productions.
Venues where he has performed include the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Theater, Studio Theater, Source Theater, Woolly Mammoth Theatre, The Black Cat, DC Comedy Loft, and The Shower.
